The story of Tøllefsenhjørnet:

In 1924, Lauritz Tøllefsen started "Tøllefsen Kolonial" in Storgata 49 in Tromsø. He, his wife Nanna Kristine, and their three sons lived in the floors above. In 1954, his son Kåre Tøllefsen took over the business - and kept it going until 1978. For a long time, the corner was called Tøllefsenhjørnet, “The Tøllefsen Corner”.

44 years later, as Kåre's youngest grandchild, I am ready to carry on the family name. At Tøllefsenhjørnet you will be served delicious coffee, homemade cakes, natural wine and locally brewed beer.
